I want a black roof

hey guys i am thinking of blacking my roof---if i use the blue bat overlay-if one day i am trying to get rid of it, does it mess up the paint job? how much do they go for?

it should not mess up the paint, check out the sticky in the body and exterior mods section

You should be fine, as lon as it is applied correctly. We took one off an E92 that had it on for about a year, no affect on paint .

Ok-just he guy that i wanted to answer my question...What does applied the right way mean? lol Do i need you to apply it or what?

It means that you gotta get someone who knows what they are doing to install it. lol

im planning on getting the roof overlay too !

If it doesn't go on perfect, it's gonna look bad. But if you get someone good to do a proper job, it looks sickkkkkk.

that's easy to take care of, just use a low grid sand paper and will take care of those adhesive.

A hairdryer and a credit card and it honestly took me about 20 minutes in the FREEZING cold to remove the roof overlay.

Now Monday I'm dropping the car off at the bodyshop to get painted for $295 I wish I would have done this in the first place.

I brought a 8 ft black overlay from a tuning shop for $30 but I had to do all the measure and cut by my self. the hardest part is to cut around the sun roof. it took me and my friend 3 hf to finish it. came out really good.
