There is a good bit of difference between the 07 and 08 because that is when they switched from the G35 to G37. The 37 is a bit more round and goes for more of a luxury look than the 35 does. It is purely a matter of taste as too which one looks better. I personally like the 35 as I find that it is sexier. The 37 has the better engine and interior hands down though. There's not much of difference from 06 to 07 so I would go with whichever one you can get a better deal on. That is unless of course you just want something newer.

I agree with VQ Dawg; I loved the pictures of the 37 and put a depoist on one, built it the way I wanted it and when it came in I was disappointed with the round look and once I sat in it I did not fit...I agree the interior and engine are much better but the G35 was the better one for me.

The 07 Is the most refined of the G35 series. Since its inception in 03' the changes were subtle but positive. I think the 07 w/sport bumper and sides are the best looking of the G35 era. The G37 is a different animal all together. It seems to have gone more towards the luxury car segment than really the sport luxury model that it started out to be in 03-07.
I almost traded my 04 for an 07 in Sept........i still think its a nicer looking car over the G37....it looks heavy IMO.

Good luck with you decision.

I mean the price difference between the 07 and 08 shouldnt be that far apart...at least i hope not(i have an 07). I had really wanted the g37 but couldnt afford the extra couple dollars a month because i had already went over my budget to get the 35.
The 35 is a great car but i think the quality of the g37 is better especially the interior.
the exhaust sound has shifted from a mellow tone to a more aggressive tone.

What to do opinions....!

Hmm, year ending and the economy you should be able to get a new G37
with zero miles at a very good deal. Find a dealership with lots of coupes,
do some research and make them an offer....low ball. If they want to sell
the cars they'll counter offer....Good Luck.

My family has both a g35 and 37. I perfer the looks of the g35, but just as everyone else has said the interior of the 37 is leaps and bounds above the g35. The g37 seems to leaning to a more luxury car, and it does it quite nicely.

I disagree about the exhaust notes though.. I feel the g37's note is a bit quieter and less aggressive.

I would agree with SKosto on the exhaust note. I can always pick out a G35 coupe when I hear the exhaust before I even see it (OK so sometimes it's a Z, but they sound pretty much the same).

I would also agree with GR8TG35 that the 07 looks the best with the sport package because in the previous years the lips were added onto the bumpers with separate pieces while the 07 (and 06) has the lips molded directly into the bumpers.

I have not researched it, but I would think there would be a significant jump in price from 07 to 08. One because it is obviously newer. Second, because the price (new) of the car jumped about 1-2.5K that year depending on the model.
