one of my headlights fails to turn on when i start the car but after tuning the lights off and then on a few times it works; after a few tries. I think there is a problem with the connection but i really have no idea. What do you think?

 

Are they modded at all?

 

This was happening to me, the ignitor on the bulb was loose, i needed to turn it to the right and lock it in place.


After i did this, all the flickering and the bulb turning off went away.

 

sounds like ur ballast is on its way out

 

yea i thought it was something like that.

 

Check your ignitior first, just make sure it's tight. If that doesn't work, take out the ballast and open it. I've seen ballasts badly damaged from water, if that's the case, seal the other with silicone and buy a new ballast for the broken one.

 

what exactly is the igniter?

 

I had that problem for a few months then it just went away... i really have no idea what was wrong

 

Its the connector that is plugged to the headlight, take out your wheel, and peel back the inner plastic fender lining, and check the headlight. Turn it to the right when you remove the plastic cover, i bet you thats it.
