Headliner removal?

Anyone know how to do this easily? Is it involved of fairly easy or should I let the dealership handle it?

I'm pretty sure it's just a long slow process and putting it back on is a major PITA. But I'm not sure, this is going off a headliner installation on like some cars show, it took the guy like 4 hours to put one on the older mustang. Maybe it's easier for the G

Why do you wanna know?

just a matter of removing the map light, visors, all the hooks, and the sunroof trim. it is not glued or clipped to the roof and will just fall after all these pieces are removed. be carefull about creasing it while pulling it out of the car.

OK the reason i want to know is because something has gotten in my sunroof and is in the space between the roof of the car and the headliner. I can see like a brown paper bag way back in there.

Guess somebody was trying to be funny.

If its behind the sunroof all you have to do is remove the B pillars. You can pull the headliner down enough once they are removed to get in there and get out whatever is stuck in there.

I just did that with mine to install some Dynamat on the back part of the headliner. It was very easy to do, just don't forget about the 10mm screws behind the side airbag covers on the B pillar.

OK, the C pillars were very easy to pop out but the C and B pillars are connected.

The B pillars are a bitch and I'm scared because the airbag crap is right there. Am I supposed to just really pull out on the B pillar or is an airbag gonna go off in my face???

ANSWER ASAP. I got a bunch of crap that was rattling around out, apparently someone thought it was funny to put about 5 peices of hard candy in my sunroof.

Sorry to laugh, but that is funny! It could always be worse though! Did you get it figured out?
