My popcharger heatshield was a piece of crap to begin with and now most of the foam surounding the shield is falling apart, POS! It basicly does nothing. After lots of searching here i've found no solution and was wondering if anyone has made thier own or have used a different shield from another intake in a mix and match approach. I'd hate to have to buy a whole new intake, but i know the heat soak is hurting. What are you guys thinking--popcharger guys chime in please. Thanks in advance

I have no idea about pop chargers but I remember the guys over on bf.c had intakes with home made heat shields with supplys they found at home depot. They arnt hard to make if your handy, just get some heat restistant material.
