Is my car a lemon?

Infinity refuses to admit any problems with my car whatsoever, but I have got to say I've driven ecobox cars with 100's of thousands of miles that seem to be quieter, and better assembled. I am extremely disappointed with what nissan deems a 45k car.

1) The clutch pedal has literally like .5-1 inch of play that actually engages and disengages the clutch

2) clutch pedal sticks like mad, cant really reliably reproduce.. used to think it was in weather extremes. You'll take off, let out the clutch and itll go vrrrrr POP as it decides to pop out wherever.

3) Burns HUGE quantities of oil (>3qts in less than 3kmi) and this isnt consistent... seen it on more than a couple oil changes. The infinity dealer told me to bring it in, so I took a picture of the dirty oil below empty on the dipstick, they called me back ad showed me the dipstick and sure enough bright yellow oil above full.

I truly feel like even if nissan decded to look at the motor, they wouldnt look at the tranny at the same time, I keep getting told the same ****, and I've even driven my coworker who had 1 year newer but otherwise IDENTICAL g35, and none of those symptoms. infiniti is supposed to be a premium brand, but this is in no way shape or form a premium car at all.

I need advice.

Get your clutch slave cylinder replaced under warranty, and your motors burning oil and they should replace that under warranty. If they give you **** about it, talk to the service manager not the idiot service advisors. If the manager decides to act a fool and not help you out, then call corporate and complain. I know how it feels going to a dealership and having the service advisors treat you like ****. Keep fighting.

Haha I bash on Infiniti across the board too it's cool. Our cars burn oil, have weak trannys, compression rod squeaks etc etc... but I love it.

Anyways just go in and get your warranty work done, and let us know what happens.
