Hey everyone.
I've been shopping for a G for the past few weeks and i was wondering what kind of matience issues are they notrious for Have a feeling depending on the miles what warrenty will cover or what not but just trying to get a better idea what I should expect. Probably going to try and pick up an 03-05 6spd depending on the price range and what I can get for my Prelude -__-"

$1000 for tires every 2 years or sooner. The only other maintenance you will need is reg. oil changes and keep the fluids clean. No real issues, these cars are new.

i was just lookin around for this type of info shadowdragon...after about 2 weeks of research, the tires seemed like the biggest deal...

thats it...and some people said the reliability of the engine (best v6 ever) makes up for the tires....mine are 19s and its soooooooooo worth the extra 50 bucks a month.

yeah. i havnt been able to come up with anything either. not serious like how preludes timing belts snaping in vtec = x.x .. Why do the tires seem to give away like that or is that just normal wear and the tires are just expensive?

Tire wear is sped up simply because this car is sort of a pig (heavy) with low profile high-perf. tires...

VTAK!!!

Well tires are expensive, but you will be comming out of the pocket more or less than usual depending on how you drive.

youll only need reg. oil changes for the rev up engines. My 2003 has nop problems with oil consumption

The only problem with the Gs are-
Tranny problems with the 6 MT
and oil consumption on the later models of Gs
