Angry Hit & Run @ the GSR parking lot

Soo last night i went to the GSR Casino/Resort around 10 pm - 11:45 pm & my G was hit by someone stupid and careless in such a big parking lot and decided to hit my innocent G parked right next to my friends STi. I had just got the car detailed that afternoon and had been my first day driving it after 2 weeks of snowy weather. SO as i await for Security to check their surveillance tapes to see if they got it all on tape , and then i can take that to Police , and everything should be solved. However if it happened out of cameras view which might be the case does anyone think the damage shown is repairable? it doesnt look like it hit the rear frame.. would a new bumper be needed?

Thanks for Reading

Oh NO!! Sorry to hear that! I don't really know exactly what will need to be done here, but I can recommend an excellent body guy in Reno if you are interested.

Good Luck.

Yeah, just paid for it. Then, less than a week later I got hit by a drunk driver. Lol.

Try and pop it out before you buy a new bumper. At least you can aftermarket if you want to.

So sorry to see that man, that sucks! I can only imagine how frustrating that must be! For me, I was upset when I got bumper tapped and found a scratch which is barely visible, but this is ridiculous! Any luck getting video?

Shane said it.. heat gun and pop it out..

Then for any scrapes/or whatever buff it out. (Doesn't look like you have any)
But this is a temp. fix.. it would look just fine if you pop it out correctly.

This is just something that looks 10x worse than it really is...

k, just got back from body shop and they quoted me at $1209.89 for the fix.

Which includes new rear bumper, painted, and all the labor...

Price is way out of my league at the moment.. so i guess the heat gun is my best option, the guy at the shop said if they were to pop it out it would not look right or be like it used to or something along those lines, im guessing he's just saying that?

He is right, but since you don't have the money at the moment.. Just get the heat gun out and do it yourself.. It will look 100x better than now. And it's not even hard...

At least you don't have any scrapes or anything..

Good Luck.

IF the pop out doesnt turn out well then what do you think bout just getting this? comes primed , then i can take it to a shop to get painted, then install the bumper myself , paint shouldnt cost more then $250 to paint so itll all be less then $500
