Road Noise. Dnyamat. Gone?
So, basically I have 1 10" in the back and it's more performance bass, meaning it provides deep clean hits and my sub hardly rattles the car at all, which is odd, I guess???
Anyways, I purchased dynamat thinking I would need it, turns out I don't.
BUT, there is a noticeable amount of road noise in the cabin, and I'm lowering it here soon, so that is only going to get on my nerves even more.
What I'm thinking of doing is taking out that carpet under the passengers feet area and drivers area, gut out the doors and insulate all that...my 1st question is 1) How to take out the carpet area under the glove dept and area under steering column 2) How to dissasemble the door sides to apply this stuff.
Any help/links would be appreciated. Thanks...

The carpet in this car is all one piece.
To get it out just DL a copy of the FSM and follow procedure.
Just for a heads up you need to remove:
Back seat bottom
Driver and passenger seats
Kickplate bezels(J shaped deals)
Center console
Lower A/C vents(next to center console, but by your feet)* A maybe on this one.
I recommend taking all that out and driving your car around a little.
I had EVERYTHING but the dash, drivers seat and shift **** removed and went for a drive. I had a chirp into 3rd gear
. Of course that was with ALL sound deadening removed.
Its pretty fun.

hahaha that's legit...
yea, I dl that pdf somewhere, sounds like a b1tch though.
All I want to dynamat is just the area where passenger/driver sit and the doors themselves.
Me being lazy pwns
