Move from East to West Coast 93 to 91 fuel, how???
I'm being forced to move from the east coast to the west coast pretty soon. My coupe has about 8000 miles on it and has had 93 octane fuel for its whole life (about a year). Now I'm forced to head to an area that only has 91 octane as the highest grade. What should I do? or rather, what can I do? Siphon out the whole tank for a fresh start? Clean the injectors... oh what the he!!?

what is the altitude where you are moving? In my case at 5000 feet, I can't get the full benefits of 91 octane, so I only use it when I go down to the valley or other location lower like that.
Even 89 octane in the summer is overkill as there is not enough air to see the benefit.
check your altitude, if you are over 2-3000 feet, it may be overkill
anyhow, good luck on the move.

What's the problem here? Just start using 91 octane gas, it's perfectly fine, it's still premium fuel buddy.
It's a pretty good idea to use STP Fuel Injector Cleaner every 3,000 miles. Some mechanics say that it really does clean the injectors (they can tell who uses it and who doesn't), and if it really doesn't do anything (since most new engines are self-maintaining when it comes to hydrocarbons and other sh*t anyways), at least it only costs like $1 a bottle.

If you're really that concerned about this, I suggest you buy a couple of 5 gallon gas cans from WalMart, then head to your municipal airport or air park and fill them up with 101 octane avgas. Add a couple of gallons of the avgas before you fill up with 91 and you should have ~= 93 octane in your tank.

You forgot to mention that the 91 will more than likely cost you more than the 93 you are buying right now hahahaha especially if you are moving to SoCal. Don't worry abou it, 2 octane units are not going to be noticable in an average car.

Ehh.. All us SoCal people been runnin 91 all this time. You'll be fine. Except perhaps.. Your wallet .. Hahaha. I go to the same 76 for 91 octane at $2.45 / gallon. To me this is a steal. (This is northern OC.)

No no no!!! Do not use 100LL (low lead) fuel from an airport in your car. This fuel is designed for aircraft which uses piston engines (as opposed to Jet fuel). Even though it's called low lead, it has a ton of lead in it. This stuff is not good for your car. On top of that, it costs about $3-$4 a gallon.
This stuff will foul your plugs like no one's business and send your ECU into whack land.

If you have mods on your ride that may cause a lean condition (ie. pop charger and plenum, etc.) and don't have an ECU reflash, you may feel the pain. If you're already close to a lean condition, the 91 may be the last straw for you knock sensors. If you're not modded, or are managing your fuel condtion with a fuel management system of T/S ECU flash, you won't even notice. 91 is sufficient.
