My friend totalled his G35 and I got dibs on his parts, I know he'll let them go for cheap. It's an 04 6spd coupe and I have a 05 6spd coupe.

I'm already buying the OEM front lip and eye lids. What other parts are worth buying and putting on my car or just selling? I was thinking of the brembo brakes, and a few other little minor things. What else is worth a decent amount?

P.S. He's got 350z S-tech springs also, I might also get those also, how much do they normally go for?

Where was it hit? GET THE BREMBOS. Those go for about 1,500 for a good used set. But you can completely strip the car and sell everything, seats, hood, headlights, tails, strip that baby. As far as for your car, there's not much besides the brembos that you can take. Maybe the spoiler if you don't have it already.

 

If it has the black interior, I'll buy the stock climate controls of you

 

you can do that if you wanna make your interior look worse and waste a lotta money. IMO getting the brembos isnt even all that great. Its the brand name that people want others to see. I thought the brembos had problems fading away quickly which is the reason they stopped putting them on the G in the first place. If I were you id grab the lip and springs and whatever little things I could and call it a day.

....... That's why they put Brembo's on the new GT-R, supercharged Range Rovers, and Ferrari's... Some 03's did have pre-mature wear but this is an 04, and they stopped putting them on the G because they were too expensive.

 

Plus those 5 year old brakes are overpriced when people try to sell them

 

Last time I checked there was a class action lawsuit agaisnt brembo because of the premature failure on the Z/G.

Brembo isnt a bad brand but you shouldnt waste your money on the factory brembos when the stocks are just as good. If your gonna upgradge your brakes do it right. Like a BBK.

The baby brembos they throw on the stock G isnt anything special. Maybe you should think more before you talk dark.

Brembos are quite worth it if you have the right pads and rotors.

 

Is your friend striping the car down to to frame or is he just selling major stuff off it before insurance taks it away.


If insurance isn't taking the car then u can sell just about everything peice by peice.

It will take some time working with forums and sites like ebay and craigslist.


You get good cash for the brembos on ebay for sure. even tho they arent the best , if prices below a bbk people buy them just for show I noticed.
