Question Please help a fellow 03 coupe g35 owner!

Hello All,
Have not posted here in months although I still hope I am accepted in your community.
Anyhow, I have a few questions that I hope can be answered:
2003 G35 coupe w/navi and brembo

1. Is there any type of indication for the passenger side not wearing their seat belt?
I noticed that when they are not wearing their is no sign of them NOT wearing it, I only notice by turning and seeing that they are not wearing it.

2.Does this affect the air bag? Is there an indication when the passenger airbag is on/off?

3. There is a latch behind the passenger seat, it does not do anything . I thought it would push the seat forward but it does not. Is this what its suppose to do? can it be fixed?

4. I have the g35 with the flat center console, can I someone upgrade this to the armrest?

5. Im thinking of buying rims for my car, 18s. Any recomendations for a red. Ill post a picture as a reply.

I hope you all had a great happy new year, and apologize for not contributing more but I do view many times and recommend others to this site

hmmm i not sure about the passenger seatbelt indicator but i think it should have a sensor for the airbags to turn on when sum1 sits, but for the rims i say go all out, i also hav a red g (2005 a/t) and i hjave the stock forged 19's and they look nice. but it depends on how much u want to spend on rims, u can go prob up to 20's on a g to my information, and i think blk rims look sick on a g in my opinion.

If the passenger seat is empty the seat belt indicator will not stay on. It
lights up when you first start the car but goes off within seconds. You can
get an armrest from the '04 models from Riverside Infiniti 1-800-919-8120
ask for Tony. Rims....do a search under LR (lazor red) coupes, not sure
I'd go with the 18s but there's numerous choices depends on your wallet....

Thank you Gary,
Is the product offered by Riverside similar to :
THIS ARMREST

On my coupe, there is no indication at all, with the seat empty or not.

Do you feel any resistance when you pull the latch? There's most likely a cable connected that's come loose or snapped. You would need to take apart the chair to fix though.

There is no resistance but I suppose taking apart the seat would not be worth the fix.

the latch is a bit hard to pull.. you need to pull it up pretty far, it should do the same as the latch on the side of the seat, and there is a black button on the back of the seat that should move the whole seat forward once the back is pushed forward. not sure about armrests and if it's a coupe I dont think there are any seatbelt indicators but there is an airbag indicator up near the thermostat (or whatever it's called) that goes on when no one is sitting in the seat

I have an 05 so I'm not sure how the older models were but there is a light that says "passenger airbag off" in yellow text up next to my analog clock. the latch on the back of the seat lifts up and the backrest moves forward, then there is a small black button that moves the seat forward. idk if its the same in ur model

When yo turn the car on, it checks for the seatbelt being latched or not. If it's not, the sensor decativates the air-bag. I believe it has something to do with lawsuits realting to babyseats being on the passengers seat and the airbag staying on and activating in the case of an accident.
