I have often wondered about this. There was a really nice boosted G for sale, actually I think it still is, it was posted here in the market place. Black, TT, out of Vegas, but it was an auto. :-( Probably would have tried to buy that car if it was a 6MT.

You will definitely need to change interior trim pieces and I would assume that the trans mounts would be different. And what about the ECU? Can an ECU designed to run an auto just run the motor and forget the trans?

Good question... Any experts?

It costs about 8-10k to have a shop do the swap, sell the car and get a 6MT.

Sell the car and get a 6MT. There's a lot to be done, I think DieselX did it so you can PM him and ask how much it cost him.

Trans mount is dual purpose. One position will sat 5AT, one position will say 6MT. I've seen some that say 5AT, and the other say CVT.

The parts to do the swap are in the marketplace right now, 2500 for everything. Labor ranges from 1500+ https://g35driver.com/forums/drivetr...-6mt-swap.html

If a shop is charging 8-10k everything included better be brand new cause that's robbery in labor.
