RPMS go nuts when floored

OK, something new that isnt right.

Whenever I floor the car the RPMs rev up about 500-700 then drop back down and then acceleration begins. Very strange

What could be causing this? Some kind of leak somewhere or what?

could it be the clutch slipping a little maybe?

Imagine holding you clutch in a little tiny bit and giving it gas, that's what is doing. Just real quick then drops down and acceleration kicks in.

Cruise in 5th gear at like 30mph (or just in a high gear when the rpm are real low) and floor it, if the revs jump up your clutch is probably slipping.

Jim Wolf makes a good clutch... don't know if it's good enough for S/C though... might wanna look into it

They'll tell you that you drive like s**t. A clutch should last much longer than 21k.
