Thoughts on Bluebatmobile.com Turn Signal Overlay

I expected something nice and good quality. laser cut overlay, but this product it is far from good quality. I can tell he hand cut it himself with some sort of razor and put little time into measuring it up to a g35 turn signal. its not a smooth edged cut. its about 1/4 inch bigger in diameter all the way around.

All he really did was draw a cardboard shape similar to the g35 signal and cut it out with a razor. It could have been done a lot better.

Although it looks decent, I'm neutral on my satisfaction.

Just letting you guys know my thoughts on this mod, so that no one else would expect some high quality laser cut overlay because it is not.....

Re: Thoughts on Bluebatmobile.com Turn Signal Overlay

i own the car that he prototyped these on. he had originally cut it to the diameter of the amber lense. i am the one who suggested to increase the diameter, due to extreme viewing angles, too much amber could still be seen behind the overlay. the final product turned out to be the ideal size application.

today, i am stopping by so he can prototype a full rear light overlay. will post pics as soon as i can.

If they were cut to size, you would definately see the amber at an angle.

Re: Thoughts on Bluebatmobile.com Turn Signal Overlay

gg35's pics are here.

also just want to comment on the quality. yes they are not laser cut, buy mind you that they are not cut by a 3rd grader either. i wouldn't be surprised if bat had his master's in "scissoring" . if they were laser cut, i think his prices would reflect that as well.

no offence intended gg35. you had a valid and honest post.
