Yea...lots of threads on that subject. Some years old. Check your oil as a normal maintenance ritual. Many have but not all. See if your one of the lucky ones without. See you have a 05 6mt = you have a revup VQ. There's a TSB on those.

Not much for me...passenger side window motor, driver side door lock actuator, and my factory head unit crapped out.

I bought the show room demo and it had 5K on it and it is now at 34K. I have a daily driver now so wont be putting those kind of miles on it.

not really, it happens more often than you'd think. Once the battery gets drained enough times, the alternator cant regenerate it fully and it will eventually just die from a bad cell.

Nothing so far in '09, but back in September the molding around the sunroof in the interior came off. It was a crazy hot Arizona day and the car had been in the sun all day (I'm forced to park in the blazing sun at school ) so I guess the glue came undone from the heat and it fell off. When I got in it was like laying on my shoulder, it scared the crap out of me lol.

And why wouldn't I let them replace it? Seems sort of stupid to turn down a free engine, tranny, etc. I had warrantty and I dropped by car off and picked it up pretty much brand new.

So wheres your problem at in here?
no factory clutch on this planet should wear out in 30k, that is the driver error the other guy was referring to

I know her personally so let me speak for her as she's not being clear.

She bought her car used w/ around 30K on it.. It already came modded (intake), this is an automatic sign that the previous owner drove it hard.. its just rule of thumb... God knows what the previous owner did to the car/clutch before she bought it.. Her clutch burned out at around 60K and she knows how to drive a manual.. Trust me.

I'm not kissing her *** I actually speak from my own knowledge. Also if I remember correctly her firts clutch that did burn out wasn't a factory clutch so there ya go.

Well now thats a completely different story and thank you for clarifying that, and you are correct about mods being a sign of a beat up car thats exactly why mine only came with wheels
