yah, the guy is going to hook me up. He works for all the dealerships and does RIM repair.

And ive heard alot of people withh crossdrilled or slotted rotors painting thier rotors with a thin layer of engine paint. The sharp edge of the brake wouldnt cut away any paint on the braking surface. I wouldnt do it but i would paint of a thin layer for the center parts for my issue.

How would dry paint destroy ceramic/metallic brake pads? i could understand if it glazed the pads....if thats even possibly, but not a think layer of dry paint.

I need to fix both of mine, 4 OEM 18" and 4 x 20". Not curbage or anything, the 18" got wrong chemical on it and the 20" forgot to clean before put away for winter and the cold + moisture broke out the corrosion. Wish I have someone hook me up here =)

i have a great idea.(you all probably know this) i actually purchased a chrome license plate bracket over the summer and i noticed it had some rust on it. My friend brought me some 00 grit typle of steel wool and said it would work. I didn't believe him at first but whoa it actually took out the rust and the chrome was really shiny. It's like a brillo pad with 00 grit. If the rust is from exposure im sure it would take off the rust off too right??? he said that you just have to keep up with it. hope it helps.
