Don't hold the clutch in for more than 10 seconds... thats the common 10 second rule, it wears out your bearing.

Push the clutch in all the way down or sometimes you'll grind a gear... The clutch on Z's and G's are out of this world..

What else?? blip the throttle when down shifting, down just go from 5th-3rd or 5th-2nd and let the car jerk..

Shifting also depends on your desire for fuel economy. Most people like to go 2500-2800 to save gas, even though it makes me wanna cry when I drive like that. Once you get in to the 3000 range is where the real power takes hold in these cars, but it's a b*tch on gas sometimes.
+1 for the 10 second rule

Can you be more specific? You never have to hold in the clutch for a while... Just keep it in neutral.

Keep it in first then.. You can use the clutch as much as you want, just dont keep it held it..

Also 10 mph is good enough for 2nd

Yea I understand what your saying, happened to me yesterday in our toyota... It gets extremely annoying in bumper to bumper traffic...

or when someones riding your a$$ and your stopped on an incline but you're afraid to roll back and hit them so you have to use the e-brake.
