How does one know if one's G35 is a 2003.5 model? Is there a specific manufacture date (and how do you know that date for your car) on which manufacture of the 2003.5 began?

It refers to the sedans. All coupes are basically 2003.5's, for all practical purposes (or maybe they're all 2003's, and there are no 2003.5's). The change in Sedans occured around October/November. The way to tell is to look at the trunk. If it has INFINITI in a little box with a handle to open the trunk, it's a 2003. If it has I N F I N I T I spaced across the trunk with no handle, it's a 2003.5. There are other minor changes throughout the car.
