Is my throwout bearing covered under warranty?

I have aftermarket clutch and my throwout bearing has gone bad and is making noises, is that under warranty does anyone know? Also is this throwout bearing located inside the transmission? Please help thanks.

I believe that would be a no. Not sure exactly where it is located. I noticed mine makes noises sometimes too after I don't shift properly.

Just deduct the cost of clutch and pressure plate for parts, the labor will cost the same.

When you had the clutch replaced it's common practice to install a new
throwout bearing. That's like taking a shower and putting on your old
boxers....why would you want to.... LOL The bearing is on the outside
of your tranny within your clutch. Labor will be close to what it cost to
put in the new clutch....a little less. You might try calling a transmission shop
rather than taking it to the stealership.

Are you sure it is the throwout bearing that is making the noise and not the pilot bearing in the Trans?

I'm not a expert in this area, I would take it to a reputable transmission shop that preferably has done g35's before and ask for a free estimate.

the car is already at the dealership for other stuff, and the noise starting happening when they were driving the car, they said that the technician said it might be the throw out bearing. now the transmission grinds sometimes 5th gear, would the new throw out bearing be included with the new tranny?

yeah warranty wont cover ANYTHING related to a clutch,.. " general maintenance and wear and tear items are not covered "

but yeah,... id say upgrade clutch, and get it all installed......right

Your grinding in 5th gear is most probably a bad synchro, (transmission) which has nothing to do with your clutch. The trans is of course covered under warranty. The clutch plate should not be covered under warranty as it is just like brake pads... a wear and tear item. Get it to the dealer asap to sort it out.
