blue batmobile from my350z.com was kind enough to fulfill some of our wishes on the full rear overlay. he did a great job on the template. it is 2 pieces. the 1st piece lays on the majority of the light housing and the top strip is ~1" wide and ~6" long.

for people that want to get on this asap, he will be showing up to the local san diego tuesday meet @ clairemont if any of you are interested. the rest of you will have to wait til he puts it up on his website. i see no dollar amount out of this, i just wanted to give you guys a heads up.

i'll post more pics with the brake light on in the day time and night time when i get the chance.

I don't know. I kinda liked the one that was shown before, with the cut outs for the lights. I'll check it Tuesday and we'll see.

just added a pic of what it looks like with the brake lights on in the bright socal sun (thanks dsskyline for taking the pic). i'll try to get some night time shots tonight.

its a vinyl overlay which is thicker than tint. the install was done by bat so i can't comment on that aspect.

 

All that skyline $hit and you have an Infiniti plate frame? Nice tint, might look even better on a darker color!

I am curious to know if he had a problem putting the vinyl on the taillights because of all of the tight edges.

it looked fairly simple but you need patience. take your time and definitely do it with the car sitting in the sun. or you can lightly take a blowdryer to it, but be careful with that method. i can see some of you guys setting it on high and placing it 1mm next to the vinyl, deforming the vinyl. the sun is just enough heat.

the infiniti frame will be replaced by my rear view plate cam on wednesday. sorry to offend any of you with my choices in life [img]/w3timages/icons/tongue.gif[/img].

 

Those look really good. I also thought these ones looked okay as well
