06+ Auto Trans Diff from 05-?

Hey guys, I'm in the market for a g35 right now. One of the things I've heard is that the transmission from the 03-05 is not as good as a 06+ transmission. Not too sure as in why it's different, but I hear it's different. Can anybody share any insight?

03-04 had no throttle blip during downshift. 05-07 did. Besides that, the tranny is pretty much the same JATCO 5speed used in all Nissan RWD vehicles.

Wonder why they wouldnt have started off the 03-04 with the blip during downshift?
