Yeah the price of D2S blubs were rediculous... Plus people on ebay and craigslist trying to sell USED bulbs.. who buys used bulbs? For all you know they could be burnt out.

This is the difference between a d2s and d2r bulb.

You either have an aftermarket d2c bulb, or you didn't seat the d2r bulb correctly in the d2s housing.

You can get a brand new pair of d2s bulbs for ~$50 shipped on ebay. I don't know how that is ridiculous, especially when you consider the cost of a halogen bulb is ~$10. In addition, a d2s bulb will output ~200 more lumens than a d2r bulb because it lacks the ceramic shielding on the glass

Best price I saw was about 60 per bulb.. Are you talkign about brand name for 50 shipped or ebay non name?

Looks the exact same to me except for those notches.. The bulbs are indeed seated correctly and were even readjusted/aligned by the infiniti dealer. Light output is very good, looks the exact same to me when I had my projectors with D2S

exactly, the notches are on the opposite side, so can you explain to me how you were able to fit a bulb with different notches into the projector housing?
