One year, no mods.

I'm a little bitch about my warranty. Getting better though.

Re: How long were YOU stock...

First, I have a 2004.5 Coupe picked up in Feb 04.

I ordered clear corners, the pedal kit, nismo radiator cap, and nismo oil cap the day after I brought the car home, they were on one week later.

I then added the z-tube and drop in filter right after the 1000k mike oil change. I at least waited for break-in Then I did the Zaino thing. Next up was tint all the way around.

Now I'm doing the gialla group buy on the grill and nismo sway bars are on order (booo 6week wait). Grounding kit is in there somwhere too.

If this is a sickness, I don't want the cure...

Believe it or not, i wasn't into modding AT ALL. I didn't do anything to the car for exactly one year. THen my students (i was a high school teacher) pitched in and got me the Stillen CAI for my birthday. The rest is history, just look at my sig below.

Re: How long were YOU stock...

wow I can believe how many people had parts waiting to be installed the day they took delivery...I have big plans for my G in the future but for now I'm trying to enjoy the stock part of it as long as possible..The longer it takes until I get bored the more money I'll have in my pocket...Once the addiction hits I'm dead broke..ha

Re: How long were YOU stock...

granted I had one of the first G's in Southern California (November 3rd 2002 I took delievery). There were no parts out for the car; however within a span of about 2-3 months I got to prototype Borla products (true dual exhaust and headers)..... and that's when the addiction started.

Re: How long were YOU stock...

had it for a month before I put in the z tube, then K&N filter, then PIAA all around, and ground wire. Now I'm saving up money for some more mod. I just bought a V1 radar detector so I can't buy anything more this month for my G

Re: How long were YOU stock...

Yes, it is a sickness....
Tein Flex's sitting in my room before I even test drove any G35!

350Z pedals, Clear side markers, Cusco sways in my room after my first test drive

Ordered wheels about 4 months before ETA of the car....so they would get here at about the same time

Put on clears before I even left the lot!! The rest of the stuff within a week of delivery of the car.....except for the wheels....had a little fitment prob because the shop measured a stock G so mines ended up rubbing against the Teins. Took about 4 months for another set to come in that fit.

Just sold my rims the other day....back to the stock look.

04 6MT, Black, Aero, Prem, Tein Flex's, Cusco sways, 19" SSR Sovereign's, Clears, 350Z Pedals, No front plate!
