For fun, I thought I'd start a thread where everyone posts how many years, months, or even days they waited before they started modding...List how old your baby was when the process began and what your first mod was...You can also include any mods you've installed since then...I know its a sickness, but its an awesome one at that...I'll start this off, my baby is 4 days old and she is completely stock...For now lol

 

already had parts before i bought the car (or took delivery of it)

so , i guess id say about 1.8 miles after leaving the lot, i was first "modded"

I had the z-tube and PIAA H4 and clearance lights from my sedan. I put them on about 3 days after I got the coupe. Since then:
-Clear corners
-Tints:
-Aluminum pedals
-19" CP-F Tuned
-Crank pulley
-XM Sat with Terk Micro Antenna
-Stereo system (JL amps, quart speakers, sub, enclosure, dynamat, wiring, etc.):
-Valentine 1 with hidden display
-Hotchkis sways
-Jic y-pipe
-Data Systems grill
-RSR Ti 2000 Springs
-SPC camber rods and toe cams
-Greddy SP2 Axle back exhaust
-Nismo Mid-pipe
-6000K Ultinon HID's
-Grounding kit
-Rays Lug Nuts

And I'm sure I'm missing a couple of things but that's about it. My next mod will be the GREX/Alcon 4 wheel big brake kit.

 

I think I debadged & CGed my car the same day I picked it up.
I had clear corners and full set of JDM badges from japanparts waiting for my car =P

Popcharger + Z-tube was next, and then pedals.

I am about to get some cats but RT is having QA problems... so...
maybe a kit + springs next also. summer time is great.

 

i bought philips 6000k d2r bulbs before i even picked up my g35...haha

 

about a month. hated the orange markers, had to get the clear corners. that was my first mod...

Asked the dealer to install the aluminum pedals before I took delivery, and had the clear side markers even before I took delivery - these went on the car the day I picked it up.

Clear corners, Zaino'd, Grounding Kit, and K&N within a week or so, then Crawford upper plenum, K&N Typhoon, synthetics, splash guards, and Borla TD short time later. Hyper voltage system since then. Crank pulley and Technosquare ECU reflash to come.

about 1 week...
It's been about 4 months now, and my vortech should be coming in tomorrow...
I have to find a Mod relief group... this is getting out of control!

 

Was stock until this past Saturday. That would make me 11 months, 28 days stock until I added the z-tube/Pop Charger a couple of days ago. This is one of those cars that I would have felt perfectly satisfied to keep for years without modding. It's that good!

 

Two weeks before my Injen CAI, fog lights, parking light bulbs, clear corners and new tires... And since then a lot more!!

2 weeks before adding clear corners... and its been a good year and a half before since then, and i still haven't done anything else... really eyeing the CAI though.

 

I was afraid to drive her on anything wider than two lanes before I got the side markers blinking, which was about 3 days after deliver.

I just about have my build plan complete for my '05 6MT, and I'm still a few months from ordering and 6 months from delivery! [img]/w3timages/icons/wink.gif[/img]

I'll start purchasing parts once my order is placed. Once I take delivery, I'll be installing ground wires, K&N drop-in and getting it ready for the body shop in those first days, as well as getting the tint on. Exhaust and wheels & tires will go on as soon as the paint is dry enough to trust my car with someone with metal objects laying around. [img]/w3timages/icons/laugh.gif[/img]

a month before i installed pop charger and z tube.
currently have springs and muffler collecting dust in my room, but i'm waiting until i visit the dealer for first service and few problem adjustments.
