Just saw the Carmax commercial with the red G.

I dunno, when I think about Carmax, I think Accords, Camrys and Explorers.

Anyone buy their G at Carmax? Just wondering.

 

Saw that commerical too, here in Florida. It was a red G35 Coupe. I went to their website and the cheapest (of the five) G35 Coupes they had was $31,998 before processing fees and taxes and that was for an '03 with 11K miles. The red coupe shown on tv didn't exist or has already been sold.

 

carmax is a ripoff...

 

Wel li'm sure that red G was just used for commercial purposes. I just thought it was interesting that they decided to use that particular model of car in their commercial since they are famous for selling the most average cars.

 

I went to Carmax the other day to see how much they would buy my car for. The have a decent selection of cars from 350Z's Audi's I even saw a Jag. I'm not sure if I would buy from them but their website is cool, you can do most of your shopping from home.

 

Actually, when I was shopping for my G, Carmax had quite a few G35 coupes in Houston....a couple at one location.... My boyfriend works there and let me know what they had so I could go test drive it hassle-free instead going to the dealership and dealing with a salesman and all... It's not uncommon for Carmax to obtain them from people trading in, etc....... All the one's he has mentioned were black except there was one red one.... I thought that was odd but it could have just been the timing....

I never went and test drove any of them though... I just went to the Infiniti dealership.... ;-)

Yeah, I didn't really enjoy my car being affiliated with Carmax... but oh well..... that's just me ;-)

 

Somebody has to sell cars to people with bad credit, and Carmax does just that. Nothing like paying 20% in interest on your car
