Ok on our headlights we have the side marker light not the light in the bumper but the actual side marker thats built into the headlight...
Why do it seem like its mostly lit at the top? shouldnt there be a second bulb towards the bottom to fully illuminate that light? or is just how its made (where the majority of just the top part is lit)?

 

That's how it designed. It has the fading look to it. If you want, you can put a brighter bulb in there or add an extra light to the other end. I don't know why you even ask this question and I don't know why I even tried to answer your question.
