my car has a problem smoking.

Yes it smokes all day long. Jk.

Okay this all started a month or so ago, and went away until now.**

When I push on the gas at a light or from a stop, this large amount of smoke (almost looks like I seafoamed my car) pours out of my exhaust, it has a slight blue tint to it and doesn't smell sweet so I know it isn't antifreeze, I am thinking it may be oil? Yet my oil levels are fine although I am noticing quite a bit of oil around my valve cover which leads me to believe I have a leak somewhere, I also know my head gasket needs to be replaced in due time but if the gasket were leaking wouldnt it be smoking from the hood and not the tail??

While I drive even I can note a slight hue of pale smoke (not that cold-weather driving smoke) trailing behind me, and when I stop and go at a light the smoke it causes covers like the car behind me ..

I'm stumped.

Sounds like you made need a headgasket. Light blue smoke usually means antifreeze is leaking into your motor. Do you have a CEL?

Also the more you drive on that bad gasket the more damage you are doing to your engine.

can you both explain how?

I thought the gasket would be for the oil and not antifreeze? since the smell isn't sweet I also thought it wouldn't be antifreeze.

Well I do have a CEL but that is because of a misfire.. and that CEL came on long ago, way before this issue came up.

Thank you in advance.

Blue smoke means oil. Dont try and smell it the color tells all. Fix your headgasket before you end up having a G35 paper weight.

Blue Smoke means motor damage (trust me I've blown more than enough motors to know that color all to well). The misfire is being caused by the headgasket and also you may want to have the cylinders checked with an ignition scope or a digital storage oscilloscope (DSO). Seafoam cleans the gunk out your motor before changing the oil and wont damage anything if done right. But seriously get the head gasket changed. Driving on the gasket and having a misfinring cylinder is basically asking to be driving around like Fred Flinstone.

^Definately because the more you drive on it the more damage you are doing. Get that fixed asap. Also if you need any parts PM PPGFreak. He can hook it up.

Light blue smoke means oil. White smoke means water vapor or coolant.

Yea thats gonna be a better idea. You dont wanna end up destorying your DE motor. Then again if you do maybe we can do the first 3.5L HR motor out of the 07 350z and see if she fits in there
