Ahh. I was a little confused about your terminology. I believe, however, that the numbers your talking about is brake hp. Flywheel hp would include losses from the alternator, pumps, exhaust, etc. So you're still at a lower number.

As for your real question, the performance differences are so minimal between the two engines that they may be hard to recognize. The fundamental differences in the two trannies would have a bigger impact than a few ponies.

Just my opinion, though. I would think the basic intake and exhaust mods would get you there.
