brake pads for nonbrembo

Hello,

Anyone have suggestions for nonbrembo G35 pads? I have been running oem, but they make noise when cold, right out of the garage. Done after that. I think this is a common problem? I was at the dealership talking to a saleman and a 2005 G35 coupe was backing up for a test drive and the brakes made noise just like mine.

Anyways what do you guys recommend for longevity and no noise pads. I do not need high performance, this car never goes above 75 miles per hour. (speed limit on I-10 in AZ)

I changed my OEM pads out for Akebono ProActs. No noise, almost no dust, and just about the same braking power while being very easy on the rotors.

you can also go with Project Mu NS-its designed for street.. no noise and minimal dust/ same with hawks non-ceramic.. i know they are performance oriented but if you dont have to use them heavily, they should last long

Brake pads and options....!

My OEM pads lasted 10K miles, there were chunks of brake pad on my wheels
and the dust was 1/16" thick just going around the block....knew I needed
a better pad! I've got 14K miles on my Hawk HP pads, they're about 30%
worn and I have no issues with dust or noise. Noise issues were eliminated by
doing the brake in process which can be found by doing a search....takes 10
minutes and little effort.

I was thinking the same thing. I hate when my brakes squeak because I look like an idiot driving a nice infiniti with annoying brakes. How expensive do brakes normally run and where could I get some too.
