They Effed with me (CHP). Made me pop my hood for to a look-see too, but I'm in Cali so there ya go lol...
He's not totally nuckingfuts, but close! LOL
Solution is really simple, don't install an intake without a CARB sticker. (I keep
mine in the glove box) MotorDynes 5/16" spacer can go unseen by leaving
the engine cover on. Most exhaust manufactures will not put out a system
that violates the noise regulations/laws. I'm not a fan of any Borla exhaust
because of the quality and fitment plus it doesn't sound any better than
OEM. For sound and quality you can't beat HKS, Stillen, (dual system)
there's a few others but I totally happy with my HKS dual cat-back system
because it works for me. Sound, quality and the way if fits and looks
it hard to beat....

I went to a mehcanic, different on than my usual one, to ask if they could instal the borla exhaust i was planning to buy and i alsos said i had a z tube/pop charger and a spacer for them to do and he said he'll enstall it but then he told me if i would care about all the tickets i was going to get. And then he said that the exhaust was going to be illegal (i live in CA). I'm really unsure of why he would say this because i'm almost posotive that its not illegal.
