Just picked up an 04 G35 coupe and my friend said that it's already lowered. I didn't think so, but i'm just trying to get other opinions...

 

Does not look like it. Can you see the springs, if so do they say anything special, or have any fancy colors to them.

 

looks lowered to me, do you see negative camber in the front and rear ?

 

it definitely looks lowered slightly. check the color of the springs...is it green/gold/red etc or is it just plain black? stock springs are black...

 

LOWERED. Probably sitting on Eibach pro springs. That's what mine looked like when i had it on Eibach pro's.

 

Not all black springs are stock.

 

Haven't checked under the car yet. I work the graveyard shift and it's usually dark out when i leave for work and come home. It's been super cold here in MD to so i usually just run in and out of the car! LOL. I'll check though. No noticeable camber... I bought the car from a VW dealer and it is still completely stock other than my air freshener! :O

 

Prokits are usually a .75" drop right? I used to hate installing them because you still have to compress the hell out of them to reassemble the suspension.

 

If i remember right i think it's 1.1" on the Front and 1.0" on the rear.

Isn't that a 06 sport front bumper also??

 

to tell you the truth, i'm a newbie to the G world. I've converted from an IS300 and am slowly learing about my new car. The front bumper does look different from other fronts that i have seen on g35's rolling around in the area. I'll try to snap some better pics so that i can post them up. The front does have some silver mesh that i didn't think came stock, but it's molded onto the bumper, so i'm assuming that it is.?

 

yeah looks dropped. something funky about the front end, does look like it could be an 06 bumper, as well as the headlights look like they may or may not be 06 as well.

looks lowered to me..im pretty sure it is just by noticing that it has a on 06 sport bumper..means they were somewhat into modding it. The mesh grill or w.e your saying could be that they just painted the mesh the same color as the bumper when they painted the bumper..looks like the stock mesh that would come on the 06 sport bumper but it comes black and is NOT suppose to be painted. If i were you id cover up the bumper and spray the mesh part a flat black. Looks a bit ghetto as is. Other then that the car looks clean ..
