Did a search, couldn't find much info about my problem.

My driver's side window will go half way up, stop, then shudder all the way back down.

If I give it a few minutes, it will roll all the way back up with no problem. But of course, I have to find this out in the middle of a torrential downpour.

The service department at my dealership is absolutly horrible so I want to take it there as a last resort.

Anyone else had this sort of problem?

 

6mtincharlotte - There have been various posts on window problems in the past. It appears as though there is a real issue with malfuntions on both the driver and passenger side windows. I too live in Charlotte and think the service department sucks. I am picking my car up this morning after having the window motor replaced.

I took the car in once and they failed to fix it. I took it in twice and they didn't have the part. I took it in three times and they REOLACED the wrong door (don't get me started on that one). Hopefully four? times is a charm. At they fixed the raod scuffs on my rims and detailed the car for me for the inconvenience.

 

Yeah, I just had this thing 2 days ago. My passenger side window doesn't slide smoothly as my driver side window. When I press the button again, the window will close up then go down again and then it stops.
I got to get it to dealerships...man...
