its not a sleeper exhaust. sticks out too much. and going by previous experience with others cars using GReddy... it tends to rust.

I would stick with something like Fujitsubo. But hey.. thats just me.

Is that the one that has the two fart can/coffee can looking part, right before the tips? If so, I don't like it.

I've been looking into an aftermarket exhaust myself. The greddy one is appealing for the price but performance gains don't seem to be much. Plus when it comes to aftermarket stuff you usually get what you pay for.

Greddy Exhausts

I too am curious about Evo feedback. I'd also like to know what the main difference(s) is between Greddy's Evo and their SP2 exhaust - aside from the obvious difference in price. While sound is a consideration, performance is the deciding factor.

Re: Greddy Exhausts

The EVO 2 is a Cat back-system, and the SP2 is an axle back system, the SP2 is only for sound purposed while the EVO 2 give you a diff sound and some added performance

Re: Greddy Exhausts

I have the exhaust - I posted some pics and a write-up a couple weeks back...

I love the aggresive look and sound (but still have some rasp from the test pipes - will be replaced soon) - the gains can definitely be felt throughout the rev range, but most notably in the mid- to upper-rpms... pretty much all the mods I have now are geared toward the mid and upper RPM's, so when I hit about 3500-4K rpms, it feels like a mini-turbo... my combination of mods has really worked together nicely, and I hope for some good numbers when I dyno for the first time...

All-in-all, I think it was money well spent - it was exactly what I was looking for in an exhaust, and I am very happy with it... and that's all that really matters to me...

Re: Greddy Exhausts

don't buy greddy. since they have the worse customer service i'll bad mouth them and their products. On my previous car I had a greddy evo. After a year or two the pipe inside the muffler broke off. I then had to stick my hand inside the muffler to yank out the rusted pipe. 500 dollars for a POS.. greddy said they won't take it back.

my greddy spec II boost controller broke after 2 days. after 5 months they still "looking at it" for warrenty work

DON'T BUY GREDDY.

Re: Greddy Exhausts

I have the Evo2 installed about 2 weeks ago....So Far I love the new tune that it makes esp during WOT....sounds so much meaner. I dont think the tips stick out far at all....less then 1/4 inch out from the bumper if that much. The one thing is that the tips are huge and takes a little getting use to but will grow on you. The sound for inner city driving is not much different from stock just a tad bit louder. But the whole setup does look clean esp when the sunlight hits it and the exhaust just sparkles.
