Arggg the more i drive my car, the more problems i start to see. my G has just over 1k miles and already the brakes are screechy. The driver side window button doesn't illuminate. And on top of that, i am barely reaching 300 miles per tank. It's not like i drive like an [censored] or anything. I treat my car with the utmost care. I dunno....my G is breaking down!!!!!!! Anyone else have poor gas mileage when they first got their G? Also, does anyone know what kinda bulb is used in the driver side arm panel so i can replace it please. thx!

go to the dealer.. by the way, do you have the brembos on your G?

 

Except for the light being out on the power window button everything is normal. You are getting poor gas milage because the engine is still being broken in. Wait til you reach about 2500 miles then you will start getting better gas milage. You will also realize the full potential of your engine once you reach that point. As far as the screeching is concerned if you have the brembo then that is normal nothing that a little cleaning can cure. If it persist bring it back to the dealer and they will replace the pads for you. If you have a 5AT then bring it back to the dealer brake replacement is covered for 36k or 3 yrs whichever comes first. Relax man just give the car a chance to unwind you will eventually get there.

If you got the BREMBOS they'll squeek...it's finally going away on mine....Just hit 5,000 this week.

I also notice that the car is getting used to my shifting patterns...Don't worry about the squeeking it'll go away!

k im gonna go to the dealer tomorrow n get this checked out. additionally, i have that annoying clicking sound when i am in park / neutral. some people have told me that is normal as well. I guess these things will go away with time. thx for the input. ne wayz, can any1 give me an idea of how long it will take to install a z-tube/pop charger and how much it will cost??? thx!

Other than the window switch light n/w, your ride seems normal.
Z-tube and pop charger are fairly easy installs and shouldn't take more than an hour.

Go find an empty stretch of road hit 50 and slam your brakes, that should seat them in...if they still squeek take them back cause the brakes are covered on the autos...the mileage is cause the motor is new, i have over 10k miles and im lucky if i hit 300 a tank

lol I barely hit 250 on average but I drive hard but If I was to drive in one continuous run like from LA to Palm springs and back I can hit just over 300 in one tank. Ya my brakes used to squeek alot but I have noticed it's starting to stop now I'm at 5500 miles now. The only other problem I have with my G is when I listen to CD's in my car the whole left side just cuts out or becomes distorted but ONLY when listening to cd's it never happens during radio usage and I've tried all different kinds of cd's burned one's to store bought ones and they all work fine in my other cars so I know it's probably my stock headunit.
