cold start noise

whenever i cold start the car in the morning, i hear this noise coming from under the hood, it sounds like marbles hitting each other lol, less than a second then it goes away, is this normal? what is it?

btw it only happens when i cold start, when i start my car during the day its fine

There was a problem on the VQ in the Maximas like this; IIRC it was something like there isn't enough oil pressure for the timing chain tensioner when the engine first starts. After a few seconds it goes away...can't remember what caused it, but you can probably track it down on maxima.org. Apologies if I'm not remembering correctly.
