I'm thinking about getting a 05 G..a little help please.

I totalled my is300 last wednesday and was thinking about getting an 05 g35 coupe 5AT. What should I look for in terms of any problems that should arise. I searched last night for a couple of hours and I got a headache...lol. Thanks again. ALos does anyone have any pics of G coupes with these 350z wheels? I searched and came up with nothing. Thanks.

window motor and door lock actuators as well as bose cd changer have been known to go bad. umm the paint is very soft and chips easily (not much you can do besides repaint or get a clear bra)

05-06 i believe rev-up (manual only) motors have had oil consumption problems, there's a TSB but it takes a while and have to run tests in order to get a new motor

Before you buy....get answers!

Buying an '05 G35 Coupe is very much like buying any car used. Make sure
you do a Carfax on whatever you buy, find a car that has the lowest mileage
that's been well taken care of. Check service records if possible. If those
Z wheels are on the car you're looking at you gotta ask yourself why?
Is this a junkyard dog that they put together due to a theft recovery?
All these variables are possible, get the answers before you put down the cash!
Gary

if the car comes with the OEM 19s Rays I'd keep them as they are probably stronger and look nicer (IMO) than the Z wheels. If you are going to upgrade, go with something forged or aftermarket look =]

i just bought a 05 auto coupe. check if the car still has da warranty on it. try to get one with warranty. i would rather buy it from a private seller than a used car dealership. 99.9% of used car dealerships r scums IMO. make sure u TEST DRIVE IT! c if u like it first.
