It seems as if somehow a coin got behind my ashtray in the center console. Whatever it is behind there wont let me close the ashtray. If anyone has a link or something that shows me how to take apart the center console in order to get this coin out from behind the ashtray I would be more then thankful. I attempted myself but wasn't really sure where to start. Thanks I tried a search but wasn't really sure what exactly to search for. And we all know the search isn't that great.

 

Sit in drivers seat(assuming you have a 5AT)
-pull down shift boot and take out small clip and remove the shift ****(6mt just unscrew ****)
-Take a flathead or strong puddy knike and put it under the shifter console
-lift it enough to get your finger in there
-pull up and it will pop up
-turn your car on on
-put it into Neutral
-lift it over the shifter and unplug the 2 plugs and it's free
-find the coin

Do the opposite to put it back!
