I notice that every once in a while my trunk does not open with my Key FOB and then when I go to try and open manually from inside it will only open if I have the keys turned in the ignition. Only happens once in a while. Is there some kind of security control that is causing this?

Can anyone offer input?

 

When I picked up my car, both FOBs did not work for the trunk. We opened the trunk using the release inside the car and then closed the trunk. After that the FOBs worked - sales person could not offer an explaination. I didn't really care since I just wanted to drive my new car. FOB and trunk are still working.
