So I was told by my dealer that my car needed rear brake and the rotors needed to be resurfaced. They also said the car needed new belts. So I supplied the pads for them and it was $230.00 for them to resurface the rotors and install the pads. The belts were $50.00 and it was $154.95 for the labor on the belts. I think that they were a little high on the brakes but i think they completely ripped me off on the belts. Whats your guys input?

well to make u feel a little better, i just went to the dealership today because my transmission feels a little notchy when i shift and my traction control lights are no because i was messing with the abs sensor while swapping my coilovers with the key on by accident...after about 15mins of driving with the service guy in the car and about 15mins of them plugging in the computer to see what was wrong with my traction control they said i need a new wheel sensor ($504) and a new clutch ($2500) and they charged me $300 bucks for the diag fee...mannnn never again will i go to an infinity dealership...save some money and take it to nissan if you wanna save some money from the dealership...the only reason i went to infinity is because my powertrain warranty expires next money and was trying to get it fixed under warranty...instead i wasted $300 bastards

Does it still hurt to walk....Ouch!
Once you've been around Driver for a while you'll realize there's a reason we
call them the "Stealership!" Day in day out we hear stories of members like
yourself getting screwed, paying to much for a job you might have
been able to do yourself. If you don't want to work on your car find a
reliable brake/alignment shop in your area next time you need brake work.
There are so many good independent shops there's no need to visit the
Stealership unless you actually have warranty work. Ask some of
your friends where they take there cars for service, word of mouth is the
very best advertising....Good Luck!

you paid a reasonable price for going to a dealership. if you look at the books for labor cost on hours our cars have high labor times. so i don't think you got raped. if you thought the price was unfair you could of told them no thanks and did it yourself have had plenty of people do that before.

I know a donkey in Mexico that is just WAITING for you! lol.
Dude, for that much money, you could have bought the tools and done the job yourself. It's usually $20-30 to get the rotors turned. The belt takes about 15 mins to replace, and the pads are sitting there when you get to the rotors..

Yes the dealer raped you hard....
the dealer gave me the same story about the rear brakes and belts, first i said how can the rear brakes go out befor the front and he gave me some bs story because its RWD car. i said thanks but no thanks and left.
i paied 150 for my front and rear brakes and 50 for the belts
so 200 vs 435. i like paying 200
