I dont want to start an argument but just because it a dealer does not mean they always do a quality job thats done right, every shop dealer or not can mess up or do a crap job

ya they f*cked u, i put new rotors and upgraded hawk pads on my car all around for less than 500(had a fellow g and z enthusiast install em). I did take her in for a blown front strut and they found $3600 in repairs, all under the warranty though

"Yes" is the simple answer to your question, unfortunately. It doesn't cost that much to resurface rotors, and you should've installed the pads yourself!
