Thanks ! I was guessing that too because the instructions say to make sure I have all that hardware before installation but I was confused as to why he didn't sell me the spacer along with hardware if that's the case

So I just bought a 2004 G35 coupe that's diamond graphite. This is only my second car so I am a complete newb when it comes to mods. I know for sure that I want to add an OEM spoiler and tint the windows, but I really want my car to be unique. I don't have a lot of money to spend, but appearance wise, what do you guys suggest to make my coupe different from everyone else's? I'm thinking maybe some side skirts and maybe a bumper, but I'm afraid I'd scrape too much. Oh well, what do you guys have?

If you want unique, get a different trunk instead of spoiler...

Unless you throw on an extremely ricey body kit you will almost never be unique with anything on your car with the exception of your own DIYs or the color of your car. Or unless you wrap your car in duct tape or something. Since body kits are mass produced you won't be unique, but a majority of our community doesn't seem to be doing that, at least not the extreme ones. You sorta just have to settle for a look or piece together a combination of parts, but even then most/all exterior combinations have already been done or at least thought of. Just keep it clean and tasteful and you'll be fine.

Tein springs or coilovers? The rims probably wouldn't look good without a drop anyway so I'd say the coilovers if you're going that route. And if you're getting springs you may as well just get coilovers.

Then just save up for the rims + tires since the springs are only about $2-300 or so right?

Couldn't disagree more, a LOT of members here including me, started out with springs and wanted more adjustability down the road then ended up with coilovers. I wish I had listened to all the people who advised me to go with coils from the start before I went through 3 different suspension set-ups, would have saved almost enough to buy s nice set of coilovers. Not only do most of them let you adjust dampening and height, but they also come matched with the correct springs which is hard to do if you're putting together a suspension of separate springs and shocks. And with the influx of budget coilovers out there, a set of OK coils isn't any more expensive than new shocks and springs.

^ Gotta agree. Eventually you'll likely want more adjustability. That's the reason why I didn't get springs in the beginning -- I knew that I would eventually get tired of it if I had settled.

Guess I'll do some more research on coilovers and see what is best option for me personally.

Appreciate the input boss

When I eventually get my coupe I don't wanna sit it too low but I want a non-existant gap. Has anyone here (haven't come across in my search) used the Eibach Coilover setup or Tein Streets with EDFC? Which would you recommend? I basically want slightly stiffer than stock but comfort and no bounce! These have been the only coils that I considered...maybe D2...IDK so many damn choices! LOL

Been on here for a while, finally getting around to install test pipes, what is the best brand for the money? z1 I found for $155 and stillen for $344. Any performance difference between them? And any thoughts on headers? Worth the money for install?

Headers aren't worth the money.

Test pipes, best performance are ART pipes hands down.
