Re: Website Change

I agree, having the unread feature would be tremndously helpful if it can be done.

Re: Website Change

keep it this way. It's brite and happy. the z page is kind of dark. Since the 2 pages are related, is there any way the forums can be combined? that way we can easilly take a peak at the Z topics and get some tips.

I noticed the 350z heads are a bit more into tunning.

Re: Website Change

Regarding the unread count, i have noticed something. I remains accurate if you are just reading the posts. However, if you navigate to any hyperlink which is present in one of the threads, it resets itself and marks all the posts as read. I tested it a few times and as soon as you click on the hyperlink, it resets.

Re: Website Change

G35driver.com web design seem kinda outdated in my opinion. Especially the greenish white color that resembles VW beetle makes me shiver... lol

Re: Website Change

It's whenever you do anything that makes your browser refresh that page. You can cheat by using "open link in new window" to read individual topics and follow links and keep the unread list from refreshing.

Re: Website Change

OR....user-customizable Style-sheets heh....
well you dont have to go that far but how about make 3 or 4 different stylesheets, add a field in the DB to have us choose our default stylesheet inside of our User Profile
Then just add simple 3 lines of code into the header to insert the specific stylesheet for the user

Re: Website Change

hey.. sorry havent had time these few days.. I think the threads should be white background with black text in Serif Fonts because it gives a headache to read long messages when the font is in Sans Serif. (Arial is Sans Serif, Times New Roman is Serif.) I have lots more to say, but it's too much to type out. Since this is a forum, i guess it should be the way it is. And if you want a chat area. Maybe put one in for those who get bored sometimes. But you might want to seperate subjects and region also.

I dont know about you guys/girls but the blue and greenish isnt too attractive I guess. BUT then I am a very picky person when it comes to these things, so let the majority pick

Re: Website Change

I like this one the way it is, it's plain and simple, and loads fast in the browser.
