Re: Website Change

I like the way it is, let's just have updated news and link if possible. Maybe someone might like to take up the chores of this? GSM has nothing to do except post and drive

Re: Website Change

I don't know what type of forum software you guys run on the server, but I really like the software/look of the G35-Forum. Just a suggestion, click on the link below, I'm sure you've been there. There are a few guys from here on that forum. Peace.

Re: Website Change

I agree, the G35 forum is very easy to navigate and easy on the eyes. Alot better than most other car forums.

Re: Website Change

i agree the site is great now i would not change a thing. But u might want to update the front page and get the Chat up and running. Other then that i would say this is probaly the best G35 forum out there and one of the best forums i have ever seen. Keep Up The Good Work

Re: Website Change

I would actually advise againts having a chat at all on the site. I think a forum is much more productive. Not only is everything available in a searchable format, but everyone's thoughts are much more thought out and orginized. Any other opinions on this? I also think it would take away from the forums, making them less active.

It takes 90% of the population to make the other 10% of us shine.

Re: Website Change

The only problem i seem to have is that my unread count for each thread doesn't stay accurate. it shows my unread but then shows everything as read after about 5-10minutes. An unread count like the one on freshalloy.com would be really helpful.

Other than that this site is great!

Re: Website Change

Yes, it seems to clear the unread count for all threads in a forum when you refresh. It would be nicer if it waited until you actually read a particular thread before marking that thread as read. Of course, I understand the behind-the-scenes implications of reprogramming that one, it's not as trivial as it may seem.
