Hey i have read everyones problems with our beautiful window technology, BUT my current problem is a little different.

I do not think my motor is shot, but u fellas tell me what you think:

I had my windows tinted saturday and was told today was fine to open them - so about 10 mins ago i roll them down - BEAUTY! - then i roll them up - not so beautiful!

MY driver side window rolls up fine BUT makes a HORRRRIBLE rubber rubbing agains the window sound and streaks rubber marks on the inside of my window...wat the hell? lol

the motor is working but something is rubbing and its makinga disgustingly loud noise!

What should i do? WD 40?

let me know guys please im going nuts my coupe is 1 WEEK old TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!

you might want to make sure the rubber weather seal/guide is not pushed into the window opening, I know the tinters push the seal in so that they can tint the bottom portion of the window this could cause rubbing.

yea i pushed that out and thats when it started rubbing and making this aweful noise lol im scared to push out the weather stripping on the passenger side cuz im afraid the noise is gonna happen on that window too =/

ahh i fixed it! wahoo! lol
i was examining the window and i kept saying "damn this sounds like rubber so much" so i moved away the weather stripping that is visible and wouldnt u know, underneath that is ANOTHER STRIP but deep into the door. AND mine was pushed in reallly really deep, im surprised the window was even opening and closing - after a lot of strain on my fingers i got it out and VOILA! (spelling?) the window makes no more noise!

im gonna go have a beer to celebrate my "Mr. Fix-it" ways lol
