Yep i'm planning on dumping then refilling the tranny fluid 3 or 4 times til it gets pink again. Not going to do a flush cause im not sure how much buildup there is going to be and I dont want to stir up debris in the tranny. Also am going to change rear differential fluid. And I am going to Infiniti tomorrow to get new drive belt and ac belt and going to change both of those.
I am kind of worried about the tranny going out. I'm thinking about just selling this car and picking up a lower milage. The reason I bought this is because I got a good deal and I needed a car ASAP. It's the best that I could find for my price range. Cause I had the cash and didnt really want to finance anything. I am thinking I can sell the car here in Colorado for about 12,500-13k. Colorado has overpriced cars here and people buy them. Don't ask me why it just does. I only paid 10k for it.
What do u think. Should I just do all the maintenance and maintain it and keep it or try and sell it and buy a lower milage??

I've read that the AT tranny's are very solid.
I would do the maintenance and keep it.

Yeah I plan on just maintaining very very well... the good thing about having high milage is that I don't really mind tacking on the miles now... when I have low milage cars I like to preserve the car and drive it in small amounts...now that this one has so many milage it's more of an accomplishment to see how far I can get this one to run... I want to try and hit 300k original motor and transmission... but we'll see...

i agree dude i just bought one with 105k miles and i didnt think thats really high miles for this car. i think high miles is more like 175k is when you are going to have to be prepared for a new motor or tranny if need be. i couldn't be happier with my g... except for this valve cover problem i have been hearing about!

Might want to flush the brake fluids and since you are at it maybe change to SS line. I think other then that make sure you have quality brake pads and that you bed them in correctly. I myself have 91k on my 03 and the engine still runs well.

quick question, my 04 G coupe was purchased with 46K miles. Should I even bother doing the flushed or wait till 60K?
Ive only changed my oil and that was about it. Do I have to do these too:
Change Spark Plugs
Tranny Drain and Refill 4 times
Rear differential Drain and Refill
Radiator Flush
Any help is appreciated.

The more regular the service the better. Unless you know everything has been serviced recently and kept up to date, I would definitely do the simple things first...Originally Posted by WTFisJUICE?

1.check you air filter and in cabin air filter. replace if needed
2.flush your radiator and refill
3. new oem drive belts its pretty easy to change both of them
4. would do a tranny drain and refill and rear diff drain and refill ...you dont have to necessarily do a full out flush but a drain and refill would be good...cause im betting you tranny fluid hasnt been changed....
5. spark plugs do take a little more time becuase of the location but it is a relatively inexpensive thing to do...just take your time ....
