i guess i'll be joining you soon. my order is supposedly coming early july. ivory pearl//graphite//6mt.

i've only seen ip g's around the bay...twice. a very rare site. and both times, my jaw dropped. as for the lazer red, i've seen a lot more of them around. it's a more "sporty" color. either way you go, they're both nice colors.

Where did you get your information GYAL8R? Insurance should have nothing to do with color. I can't remember if color is part of the VIN code or not but my insurance agent (State Farm) never asked what color the car was. Also, I've seen no statistics that say white will re-sell better. We are talking about a sports car here and red is best known to fit that title.

I've had my Laser Red car for over a year now. I originally wanted an OB car, but when I saw LR I was blown away. And I like how the tail lights blend in with the body. The car gets some occasional looks(although it seems everyone here in Atlanta has a G35 coupe now), but I have not had any trouble with police. I don't think it gets as much attention as people think it does.

My only gripe with my LR coupe are the chips and the MILLIONS and MILLIONS of white specs all over the front bumper and hood(does our paint just suck?). Like someone mentioned earlier, a clear bra is recommended.

I find the IP coupes to be very striking, I think they look fantastic and you can't possibly go wrong with one.

however my vote is to LR.

I do have a question for all the IP guys though....
What color shows up under a rock chip when you get one?
I ask because after the red paint chips, it is white underneath, if that is the same on a white car that might make a difference to someone.

its funny how i always hear people complaining about rock chips, and after 6000 miles, i still have none. I dont have a clear bra and I drive pretty hard, I guess im just lucky.
