So last weekend I put on the Fast Intentions Intimidator. Everything's been running fine all this week, but today the SES light came on. I went and had it checked and the code read P0444, which has something to do with the purge control valve in the EVAP canister. The only thing I could think of that might have caused this is that I took off the heat shield of the EVAP canister and heat wrapped the fuel line during the installation of the exhaust. Could this have been a cause for the SES? Was heat-wrapping (the stuff that came with the exhaust) not enough? Was the installation of the exhaust completely irrellevant, and this code is for something completely different? Any input is much appreciated.
