Look what i came home to today. SCRATCHES! I was in san diego for the weekend and my brother left my car parked outside of my house on the street while i was in sd. He doesnt know what happened, but i swear it wasnt there when i left. My question is: was this intentionally done by someone or is it something that happened on the road(which i doubt). Here are some pics. The grille, the hood, and part of the hood covered by the clear bra is scratched up. All the scratches are on the right side only
I know you cant see it in this pic, but heres an idea of where the scratches are

Heres the grille area

Heres the hood area.

Ouch dude. Its hard to tell from the pics what really happened. To me, it looks like there are too many scratches for it to be intentional.. maybe someone was rubbing something across your car accidentally?

if it was a truck, there would be some mis-alignment in the hood, since it had to scrape the grille first, then on to the hood.
maybe the gardeners with the leaf blowers did it....

I don't think it was another car that could have done this.. those marks look repeated over and over... and they look pretttyyy damn deep. Maybe your bro tried to wax it for ya and used sandpaper or a brillo pad? *shrugs* Sorry to see this man.
Thanks for the zoomed out picture.

to find out if it was the street sweeper, just find out if it cleaned your street while you were gone. if not, then something else did it.
but i agree though, it sure looks like the street sweeper did it. if not, the only other explanation would be that the car was taken for a joy ride and it hit something pretty big which flew up onto the front of the hood on impact. either way, it would be really easy to find out if the sweeper was there or not.
but, i feel your pain dude : (
