Re: New Coupe Review
On a side note.. Has anyone else been wondering about whther the new auto's will have MM mode. There does not seem to be a slot for the manual shift. this also makes me wonder about the true authenticity of the pictures as the outside background does not look real. But then I could be worng.

Re: New Coupe Review
There is not an error in the MSRP. It's a canadian review, so it's in Canadian currency. "Price Range (estimated MSRP): $45,000 - $51,000" in Canadian translates to: $33,333.33 - 51,000 Canadian Dollar = 37,777.78 US Dollar, which leaves the 2005 coupe a few thousand above the current MSRP of our G35's.
Re: New Coupe Review
When that interior picture first turned up, someone thought it was photoshopped. After looking at it several times I tend to agree. If that's indeed the 2005 interior, I'm very glad I have a pre-2005 interior. It just doesn't look right for some reason.

The article mentions tha the 6MT has been "improved to provide a lower shifting effort". I didn't think the shifting in the current 6MT required hard effort. What are they going to "improve"? The gear gates seem to be easily found and precise. Any thoughts?

Re: New Coupe Review
Dude, I recommend that you remove the link in the OP. That is basically a re-written version of the official press release on infinitinews.com.
Why remove the link? The article is crappy and not factually correct, as pointed out above. The picture of the interior is from the sedan, as well as those 5 double-spoke wheels. Total garbage. Stupid Canadian writer doesn't know what he's talking about, eh!

Re: New Coupe Review
Dude, for some reason, that article really ticked me off, so I wrote a letter to the editor (editor@canadianautopress.com). Check it out...
The article by Trevor Hoffman titled "2005 Infiniti G35 Coupe Preview" is just a poorly re-hashed version of the official press release by Infiniti. Several of the pictures shown are not for the coupe, they are from the sedan. The 4 window buttons give away that the interior picture is for the sedan. Also, in the press release, the sedan is shown with the 5 double-spoke wheels, which are labeled as the 19" wheels for the coupe. The sidewalls of the tires are so tall that anyone can figure out that those are smaller, like 16s or 17s.
I recommend you edit or remove the article. It is ladened with errors and you should just replace the article with a link to the Infiniti Press Release. Perhaps the journalistic standards are not as high for internet (versus print) articles. Another option would be to pay me to re-write the article!
